I never thought I’d be saying this, but rock is making a comeback. In the mid 90s onwards, R&B, Rap, and Pop gained center stage Rock and alternative got pushed to the back. Once Pearl Jam hit its peak, it seem rock died. But a funny thing happened on the way to death… American Idol displayed some amazing Rock talent.

 We first start with Chris Daughtry. Eventhough he didn’t win the competition, he by far exploded off the scene. You know bring in David Cook this year. And what we have is the power of rock. This “competition” might just being rock back to mainstream. We just need the quality of Daughtry and Cook to emerge!
