The job market is spiraling downwards. Unemployment has increased to 5.1%, and the jobs lost each month is much higher than anyone is expecting (and this is month after month). Since the credit crisis too precident, the jobs and economy story was put on the backburner. Now, the shirt towards the economy and jobs is the forefront of everyone’s mind.

Yes the real estate market is downward, and will be for quite some time (which is the natural evolution of real estate, very high times, very low times). But jobs, jobs keeps the economy going. If you are out there on interviews, there is MUCH more supply of candidates than there are jobs. As for qualifications, you are seeing guys with 15 years exeperience taking jobs with 6-8 years experience. This is truncating the market tremendously!
