Paula Abdul had a blunder yesterday, she was reading off a piece of paper for her comments of Jason Castro’s first performance. She read her comments for performance #1, then went directly into perfomance #2 (which obviously never even started yet). Her exact quote “The second song, I felt like your usual charm was missing for me. And the two songs made me feel like you’re not fighting hard enough to get into the top four.”

Now on the surface, the audience laughed it off and just figured Paula was a little off that night. But if you go into it further, it can easily look like that the judges are scripted on what to say for certain contestants. Almost in a way to paint the picture for the contestants. The extremely bedazzled Abdul tried catching herself, but looked really nervous.

I know they were talking about changing up the show for next season, maybe less scripting and more contemporary singing!
