Regardless what happens in the American Idol finale, you have two Davids that will go onto stardom. David Cook has the rocker voice, David A has the younger group. Combined, American Idol faired quite well this year. We of course didnt add any additional jobs out there for the top 10. Broadway will be sure to snag one or two (Taylor hicks just signed with Grease).

Is Jason Castro the Sanjaya of 2008 American Idol ?
May 1st, 2008 admin American Idol went from 5 to 4 yesterday. If we put aside the Paula Abdul buzz for a minute, lets dive into Jason Castro. Last year on American Idol, it was considered a “joke” to have Sanjaya Malakar go as far as he did into American Idol. At that time, there was a wave of Idol haters. They wanted to make a joke of the idol process, and decided to vote for the worst idol to keep him in the show. That was Sanjaya last year.
Lets fast forward to this year. While Jason had a moment or two of ok performances, he generally should not be in the top 4! Theres a new thought going around the buzz with this same group picking Jason Castro. I might believe this one!
